Resumen
The functions of the school psychologist, taken from the results of an inquiry, are shown in this article. Such functions are the following: finding out of the abnormal pupils and selection of the talented ones, problems of lack of school adjustment; determination of the mental and characterological conditions of the pupils; mental hygiene of the children and hygiene of the school work; psychological study of the curricullum in the primary teaching and of the teaching function. A 75 % of the answers say that these functions can be performed by a pedagogue specialized in Psychology but not by a schoolmaster or a doctor or a psychiater. His training has a double aspect: a theoretical aspect and a practical one and both of them will be proved by the correspondent certificate of studies.
