Building a Pedagogy of Solidarity. The educative intervention in emergency situations
Abstract
Education in situations of emergency is one of the most innovative pedagogical fields from which to build a pedagogy of solidarity. Nowadays special attention has been given to this new field of educational reflection and action because of the succession of natural disasters or armed conflicts, particularly in the context of United Nations system. This paper addresses the nature of education in situations of emergency and its relevance from the point of view of its compromise with the right to education and human dignity.
