Implanting ects as an opportunity for innovating and improving teaching/ learning methods in univers

Abstract

The amount of knowledge collected in every scientific field and the quick rhythm with which knowledge is generated makes it impossible that students can learn during their years of university education all elements relevant for their professional activity.

We need a new culture of learning. Universities have to state as their goal that their students become autonomous learners. To attain this goal they must take advantage of educational implications of implanting European credit as unit for measuring student workload.
