Abstract
This documents sums up the main conclusions of the study " The Movement of Educating Cities: an Evaluative Investigation which was carried out the objective to describe the situation of the educative cities in Spain by carrying out an evaluation of the activities of the city councils, their involvement in the Movement of Educating Cities and the experience obtained by the city councils.
The article specifies the steps followed throughout the investigation: objectives, methodology, samples, tools, the interview guide, the reliability of the interview guide and data analysis. Concluding the results of the analysis of the category "Identification of Pro-grammes" will be addressed and elabo-rated upon. Improvements will be proposed concerning the city as an educating entity and the development of activities for a more complete adaptation to the charter of educating cities.
