The current technological society is rethinking educational research, both for the content of study as new search tools, organization, information gathering, data analysis, dissemination and publication of research results. Communication networks open up new ways to address the research and tools make it easy to organize and present information with a hypermedia nature. This article describes and assesses the main ICT resources to support research. The educational researcher faces a new challenge: to consolidate and develop ICT-based research to promote a dynamic knowledge management to help improve the quality of life of citizens.
