Emeritus Professor at the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja-UNIR (September 2021), where he has been Vice-Rector for Educational Innovation and Development since September 2015.

Professor of Research and Diagnostic Methods in Education.

PhD in Educational Sciences and Biological Sciences from the Universidad de Navarra.

Past-President of the European Council for High Ability (2000-2004), of which he is an honorary member.

Member of the National Advisory Board of the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) at Johns Hopkins University (2003-2011).

Founder and Director of CTY Spain, International Charter Member of the CTY of Johns Hopkins University (2001-2011).

International Ambassador and Research Fellow of the Flipped Learning Global Initiative.

I European Talent Networking Award, granted by The Association of Hungarian Talent Support Organizations (MATEHETSZ), in cooperation with the European Council for High Ability (ECHA) and the European Talent Centre-Budapest (EUTC). May 2014.

2016 International Lifetime Achievement Award. Education & Research Mensa Foundation. USA.
Professor at the Universidad de Navarra for 36 years (1979-2015).
