The aim of this research is to characterize psycho-pedagogical students’ learning from a b-learning environment focused on cases analysis of mathematics teaching. The findings indicate that the write interaction in on-line debates supported the instrumentalization of theoretical knowledge in the professional problem solving, and therefore the learning. The way of interaction and the professional learning in the on-line debates can be explained by the existence of two identities among students with and without teaching experience that conditioned the ways of participation.
