This article shows a philosophical clarification of the concept of value. The Max Scheler's phenomenological Axiology is very important in order to do so. The article makes two essential corrections to the Scheler's Axiology. These corrections are necessary if you look for the pedagogical applicability of the values. The theoretical questions are two: the reality of the values (and their connection with the goods and the being) and the knowledge of values. The article shows the relationship between feelings and reason, both are conditions of the possibility of «rationality of the preference». At the end of the article, shows the problem of the pedagogical transmission of the values, and the theory of models. José M. Barrio Maestre
