Written by Pilar Ibáñez López y María José Mudarra Sánchez.
The aim of this study is an approach to the knowledge of the social relations of 252 people with different types of disabilities, in the scope of their leisure and free time, from their own perspective by means of self assessment questionnaire.

The obtained results show that in the sample there are very few significant differences in the establishment of friendship and pair relations according to the sort and type of disability. Mainly they take part in leisure and free time activities —including sports— their hobbies and leisure spots are the ones proper to their age group and there is no significant trend with respect to their groupings, in spite of the multiple barriers they must overcome to achieve accessibility and social integration. Pilar Ibáñez López y María José Mudarra Sánchez.

Key Words: Disabilities, social relations, leisure and free time, sports, accessibility, statistical test.
