We celebrate the Centennial of the 500th Aniversary of the Cisneros
University College in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, a prestigious
University in its time. This Institution stars its activitities the
14th March 1499.Since its beginnings it became a specialized study
center in humanism as a reaction to the Middle Ages. Alcalá was well
known mainly for its language and biblical studies. The leading figures
of this movement were its Regents and Chancellors, whose first
