Training is one of the main strategies that organisations have to achieve their goals. In the last decades in Spain there has been a big increase of investment on training, coming from the private and from the public sector. But this increase of investment has not been followed by a con-trol of training’s quality or of training’s impact in the organisations. This article presents the results of a research on “How organisations evaluate training”, in order to identify the evalua-tion's process organisations apply and to detect the evaluation's culture that is behind. The aim of the research is, after the description of the situation of training’s evaluation in the Spanish context, to propose strategies that will help to improve this reality and to increase the quality of training.
