Is possible a continuity between the human being and society? A view from the perspective of Orteg

Our interest in considering the works of Ortega y Gasset is to reconsider the relation between the human being and society. This perspective help us to transcend political, cultural, and social differences. The paper consists of two parts: the first discusses the relation between the “I” and his or her personal “circumstances”; and the second deals with social customs (usos) that govern interpersonal relations (convivencia) and impersonal relations in society.
