Occupational health education PDF Print E-mail
Written by Carmen Ortega Navas
Nowadays, because of the obligations, the tension and the increasingly heavy demands of the workplace, people need to learn to adapt quickly and constantly, which can certainly over-strain the body, resulting in physical and mental problems. As a consequence, the appearance of symptoms of states of stress, burnout, mobbing and similar trouble have become quite common.

Health education must address the changes and the new needs to which people are subject in the working environment, by means of strategies and techniques for dealing with stressors individually or as an organisation. The objective is to prevent and lessen the situations that have a negative impact on our physical and mental health and to promote a true state of well-being and health at work. Carmen Ortega Navas

Key Words:
Education, health, stress, burnout, mobbing, confrontation
